Advancement Via Individual Determination [AVID]

Welcome to 6th grade AVID. This is an 8 week course designed to teach students organization, note taking skills and tutorial requests. In addition this course helps students improve academically and support student learning through the use of AVID tutors.

College Report:

Being in AVID is about planning and preparing for college by developing skills to be successful when transitioning to college. Students in AVID 6 are required to complete a College Report Project that spans the entire 8 week course. Each week students must submit required information about a college of their choosing.
